We’re adding a second GS product to the website. Our usual brand stays exactly where it is: affordable, reliable, and still our standard recommendation. Nothing changes there.
So why introduce this new one?
Because it addresses a problem everyone has experienced: injection pain. The product itself is not brand new - it has been trialed and used in Europe for over a year by many in the FIP Warriors community.
This new formulation is the only one currently available that contains GS and is truly pain-free. Not “a bit milder” but completely free of the burn that traditional GS formulation can cause.
About the concentration
It comes only in a 15 mg/ml strength, and that’s intentional. Since the injections are pain-free, even larger volumes are well tolerated and create no additional discomfort compared to injections from traditional formulas. In practice, the concentration is a non-issue because the cat feels nothing.
About the vial size (5 ml)
It’s produced only in 5 ml vials for optimal safety.
The formula has a pH of roughly 5.8, which is more physiologic and contributes to the absence of pain—but it also means that once opened, a very large vial would be at higher risk of contamination if reused for too many days.
The 5 ml size minimizes that risk.
For the same reason, after first use it’s best stored in the fridge, to maintain quality throughout the use of the vial.
Why is this product more expensive?
Because the technology behind this pain-free formulation is significantly more costly to produce. It’s not more effective than traditional GS, but it is way more comfortable for the cat.
When should this product be considered?

This product isn’t meant to replace anything. It’s simply another tool for cases where comfort matters as much as efficacy. The goal is the same as always: give every cat the best possible chance with the least possible suffering.
